Day 01: - New Delhi -Shimla Local - Shimla

Pick from New Delhi by a local Lakshya Tours representative. Get into waiting car and proceed towards Shilmla. Check into hotel on arrival. Later, Afternoon half day city tour visiting “INDIAN INSTITUTE OF ADVANCE STUDIES” At 1983m, this magnificent English renaissance structure was the former Vice regal Lodge. Its lawns and woodland are added attractions. “JAKHOO TEMPLE” At 2455m, this is the town's highest peak and a famous point for Shimla's famous views. The summit is crowned with a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman.” Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town –“The Mall & THE RIDGE” This large open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Shimla's landMarks - the neo- gothic structure of Christ Church and the neo - Tudor library building - are worth seeing. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Shimla - Kufri - Shimla

After Breakfast Leave for Manali, on the way sightseeing like Sundernagar Lake, Pandoh Dam, Vaishno Devi Temple and Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 04: Manali -Solang Valley - Atal Tunnel-Manali

This day after breakfast proceed towards Solang valley . Back to hotel & Overnight stay at the hotel in Manali. Solang Valley Solang Valley in Manali is located at a distance of 13 kms in a side valley at the top of the Kullu valley is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. Solang Valley has fine ski slopes. The Mountaineering Institute of Manali has installed a ski lift for training purpose. Located here is a hut and guest house of the Mountaineering and Allied sports Institute, Manali. Now a few hotels have also come up. The winter skiing festival is organized in Solang Valley. Sking and Paragliding are two main activities are organized here. Apart from this many other adventure sports are available like Zorbing, Horse riding & Snow Motor Bikes riding etc. Activity charges will be payable at the spot.

 

Day 05 : Manali Local

Morning after breakfast proceed for local Manali sightseeing. Visit Hadimba Devi Temple, Vashisht Village, Manu Temple, Vashisht Hot Water Springs and Van Vihar. Also visit famous Mall, Tibetan Monastery. Shopping in Manali Market for handicraft item and others. After shopping transfer to hotel, take dinner and overnight at Manali hotel. Meals: Breakfast & Dinner (Please Check hotel for Meal timings)

 

Day 06 : Manali - Dharamsala / McLeodganj 220km, (6hrs 30 min )

After an early breakfast, check out of hotel and proceed towards Dharamsala. Arrive in Dharamsala. Check into the hotel. If you feel like then go to local Market and explore the local food and items. Night in Dharamsala/ McLeodganj.

 

Day 07: Dharamsala / McLeodganj Morning

after a delicious breakfast proceed for tour of McLeodganj before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay in Dharamsala/ McLeodganj. Places to visit in Dharamsala. KANGRA ART MUSEUM, KOTWALI BAZAR: This Kangra Valley treasure trove exhibits arts, crafts, and relics dating back to the 5th century. It houses a gallery dedicated to Kangra's famed miniature paintings, as well as a representative collection of sculptures, pottery, and anthropological artifacts. Old carved doors, jails, lintels, and pandals, as well as Shamianas and gowns used by local nobility, are on exhibit. Coins, jewellery, and manuscripts are among the items on display. Contemporary painters, sculptors, and photographers are included in one area. WAR MEMORIAL : At the entrance to town, groomed lawns and a maze of tiny roads surround a pine grove where a monument honors Himachal Pradesh's post-independence war heroes. KUNAL PATHRI : This rock temple is reached via a 3-kilometer level trek from the Kotwali Bazaar. ST. JOHN'S CHURCH: The lovely church of St. John in the Wilderness is located 8 kilometres from Dharamsala, between Forsythganj and McLeodganj. A memorial has been constructed over the body of the British Viceroy, Lord Elgin, who died in Dharamsala in 1863, under the shade of deodar branches. On these grassy slopes, there is a well-kept historic graveyard.

 

Day 08 : - Dharamsala - Dalhousie 120km, (4hrs)

After a delicious breakfast, check out of hotel and proceed towards Dalhousie. Visit the SATDHARA Falls Enroute. The waterfall is bordered by pine and Deodar trees and is nestled amidst hills with spectacular views of snow-capped mountains. We'll walk to this beautiful site before heading to PANCHPULA, which is only a few kilometres away. Then go to the DAINKUND PEAK, Dalhousie's highest peak and also known as the SINGING HILL. At the summit of Dainkund, there is an Indian Air Force base, and the PHOLANI DEVI TEMPLE, which is the main attraction, is a left turn away. Arrive at Dalhousie in the evening. Arrive at the hotel and check-in. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 09 : - Dalhousie - Khajjiar- Dalhousie (22km, One way, 1hr 30 min)

After breakfast, get ready to travel to Khajjiar. Take in the tranquilly of the Khajjiar Lake. Khajjiar is commonly referred to be India's "Mini Switzerland." Paragliding, horseback riding, Zorbing, rappelling, rock climbing, and river crossing are all optional activities. Then it's back to the hotel in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay in Dalhousie.

 

Day 10 : - Dalhousie – Delhi / Pathankot / Chandigarh Drop

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive for Airport drop at Delhi or Chandigarh / Pathankot. You shall be dropped in time to catch your return flight / train back home.
